USA 2025. Q1 Car Consumers Vote Was Sharp and Tesla Y Plummet 41%

USA Best Selling Cars Ranking in 2025. In the Q1, the first of Trump & Friends return as US President, the car consumers expressed their strong view with Tesla sales collapsing and its best selling model, the Tesla Y, losing 41% of sales.

 

Looking at USA’s best-selling car ranking up to March 2025, the leader was the Ford F-Series with 190,389 sales (+24.5%), re-establishing its decade long leadership of the market. Chevrolet Silverado followed in 2nd with 129,714 sales (-9.5%). 

In third place ranked the Toyota RAV4 with 115,402 sales (-7.5%), followed by the  Honda CR-V -up 1 spot- with 103,325 (+8.7%).

In 5th place the Chevrolet Equinox  -up 7 spots- with 81,331 sales (+49.3%) ahead of the Ram Pick-Up which reported 78,848 sales so far (-6.5%).

The GMC Sierra -up 7 spots- ranked in 7th with 78,541 (+53%), followed by Toyota Camry -down 2 spots- with 70,308 (-10.2%) and the Tesla Model Y with 64.051 (-41.1%).

The Nissan Rogue -up 2 spots- closed the top 10 with 62,103 sales (-4%).
